August 30: Canvassing in MichiganSeptember 1: Democracy Nuts & Bolts: Voter Registration to Election Day: Meetings scheduled every two weeks. 6:30 pm, at Pottawatomie Park, 7340 N. Rogers. Everyone is welcome.September 4: Postcard writing to send cards into swing states. 1:00 pm at the Monarch Café [7010 North Clark St]. We'll also gather 9/18; 10/2, and 10/16.September 9: Elect and Protect: Win the Midterms: 6:30 – 8:00 pm at 7056 N. Clark. Pat Graham, Indivisible Chicago Alliance Board and experienced voter protection activist, will explain what voter suppression looks like in battleground states of Michigan and Wisconsin. Pat will share concrete ways each of us can take part in fighting voter suppression: curing ballots, hotline voter education, being a poll observer, or social media sharing. Also, Jack Swenson, Indivisible Chicago Election Committee, will be speaking about all the ways Indivisible Chicago is engaging: canvassing in Michigan and Wisconsin, phone banks, postcards, and more! Elect and Protect Session: Registration and more informationSeptember 12: Canvassing in WI: Join Us to Canvass in Wisconsin! · Indivisible ChicagoOctober 9: Benefit concert for the Immigrant Solidarity Fund, 7 – 10 pm. United Church of Rogers Park at 1545 W. Morse. Benefit concert featuring protest music, singing, and dance! All proceeds will support the fund that provides emergency assistance for essential needs, including housing, food, legal support, medical care, and mental health services for our neighbors most at risk. Stay tuned for additional details!

Postcard PartiesPostcard writing to send cards into swing states: Join us again September 4, 1:00 pm at the Monarch Café, 7010 North Clark St. We’ll be at Monarch Café on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month. Voter Registration- Democracy Nuts & Bolts: Voter Registration to Election Day Committee: Meetings scheduled every two weeks. The next meeting is Tuesday, September 1, 6:30 pm, at Pottawatomie Park, 7340 N. Rogers Ave. Everyone welcome.- Voter Registration: Help local voters register or update their registrations. Sign up here. We are using the State of Illinois "voter registration application" form to assist voters. There's no need to be a deputy registrar - but you do need a bit of training. The deadline to submit voter registration forms to the Board of Elections is October 6. Contact Katy Hogan ([email protected]) with questions.
